Indigenous Peoples' Day Celebration

Oct. 15-16, 2025
KU’s Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of Native Nations. The celebration includes the raising of the tipi, serving as a visible symbol of Indigenous presence and sovereignty. Through speakers, dialogue, and community gathering, the celebration creates space for learning, reflection, and connection across campus.
