University of Kansas Student Chapter of AISES
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national, nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of Indigenous scholars in STEM.
Indigenous Stewardship Club
The Indigenous Stewardship Club (ISC) provides volunteering and networking opportunities for Indigenous students and non-Indigenous student allies to (re)learn land stewardship practices, emphasizing traditional ecological knowledge (TEK). The desired outcome is for all students to cultivate a renewed relationship with Mother Earth, strengthened friendships with one another, and, for Indigenous students, a greater sense of community and Tribal connection.

Native American Law Students Association at KU
The University of Kansas Chapter of National Native American Law Students Association is dedicated to promoting Native American law student involvement in both the academic and legal communities involved with KU Law and the Lawrence area. Another main goal of KU NALSA is to educate the public and fellow students on the legal and political issues affecting Native Americans everyday. The organization is focused on promoting the study and development of Federal Indian Law, Tribal Law, and traditional forms of governance. For more information, please contact johnharris@ku.edu.
